1. Wrap the belt around your waist to get the appropriate length. Be sure to leave some length to spare. It is easier to cut off a bit more if needed, yet impossible to add some back.

2. Cut the belt. Be sure to cut the square end, not the rounded one.

3. Insert the cut end of the belt into the buckle and clamp it shut..
